Buckingham Chamber Hosts 2026 Annual Awards Banquet

On January 12, the Buckingham Chamber held its 25th Annual Awards Banquet to recognize the Volunteers of the Year. The event was held at the Dillwyn Volunteer Fire Department, and dinner was catered by MiPa’s. In addition to the four awards presented, attendees heard remarks from Barbara Wheeler, Sandra Moss, and Brother Max, and Gil Ragland read a board statement of appreciation for Dan Curran, longtime publisher of the Buckingham County Guidebook. 

The 2025 Buckingham Chamber of Commerce annual award winners were announced at the January Board meeting. Winners included Business of the Year winners Lisa Moss and Connie Hom of Buckingham Greenery, Lifetime Achievement Award winner Kathy Ranson, Youth Achievement Award winner Sarah Bryant and Volunteer of the Year Award winner Brad Baker. To understand the passion they have for serving Buckingham County community, please read the nomination letters that were received in support of the awards.
